I created the One Hour or Less™ concept
while on a family trip to Disney World. I was sharing with my
family how overwhelmed I felt when standing in a book store looking
at large amounts of knowledge, realizing I would never have the
time to consume even a small portion of the information. I was
also frustrated thinking about how many times I purchased a book
and started to read it, but how it would take me months to find
the time to finish it—if I finished it at all. The world is changing
but publishing has not changed along with it, so I created a
book series that would address the needs of people to share and
acquire information more efficiently.
One Hour or Less™ books was created to provide a more efficient
and cost-effective way for people to share information. The
average reader can read our books with an investment of only
One Hour or Less; that’s because our books provide only the
most important information you would highlight in a more traditional
book. Because
we only include the most vital information, our books are fewer
pages and thus, more cost-effective to produce, allowing us to
pass the savings on to the reader.
Times have changed and people are more pressed for time then
ever. The Internet has supported the idea that people need and
desire information quickly and easily. We create our book series
in direct response to the current needs of information seekers.
The goals of One Hour or Less™ publishing is to encourage more
people to write and read.
